DoS Attack

A Denial of Service (DoS) attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt the normal functioning of a targeted system, network, or service by overwhelming it with an excessive amount of traffic. The primary goal of a DoS attack is to make the system or service unavailable to legitimate users, often causing service outages and operational disruptions. This can be achieved through various methods, such as flooding the target with requests, exploiting vulnerabilities, or consuming excessive resources. DoS attacks can significantly impact business operations and require robust security measures to prevent and mitigate.
