Amazon EC2

Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) is a web service that provides resizable compute capacity in the cloud. EC2 allows users to launch and manage virtual servers, known as instances, to run applications and handle workloads. Users can choose from various instance types optimized for different tasks, such as general-purpose, compute-optimized, or memory-optimized. EC2 provides scalability by allowing users to adjust capacity up or down based on demand, pay only for the compute time they use, and benefit from AWS's robust infrastructure. It is a fundamental component of AWS's cloud computing offering, enabling flexible and scalable computing solutions.
